Our Journey
Meet the Executive Director

Daniel Montgomery is a Polypropylene Lab Technician at Pinnacle Polymers, where he specializes in material testing and quality assurance. A graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Daniel brings scientific insight and attention to detail to every part of the lab process. Outside of work, he stays active — whether he’s working out, playing golf, reading, or adding to his growing collection of unique finds. Daniel’s purpose is to help people, especially black men, develop self confidence in the professional arena. Not only to gain employment in their desired career, but to excel. Having to navigate professional spaces that are predominately white, Daniel hopes to use those lessons and skills he's learned to help young men that may face the same trials.

Outside of her work as an author and nonprofit leader, Irie remains deeply committed to uplifting her community through mentorship, wellness, and equity-focused programming. She has held various leadership roles in the social impact and nonprofit sectors, with a consistent focus on advancing opportunities for youth and under-resourced communities. As a mother and lifelong learner, Irie approaches every role with empathy, integrity, and purpose.
